Why I’m Running

I’m a teacher, mother, and grandmother who has spent several years in the Midland public schools system. I’m committed to making Michigan affordable for working families. I’m a strong advocate for universal healthcare, affordable childcare, fully funded K–12 classrooms, universal free school meals, paid parental leave, and protecting reproductive rights. I will fight for better pay, stronger benefits, workplace dignity, and getting money out of politics. I’m committed to building a Michigan where every family has the opportunity to thrive.
