I support universal free breakfast and lunch in every public school because access to nutritious meals should never depend on a family's income. By ensuring every student is fed, we can improve academic performance, reduce stigma, and help children focus on learning instead of where their next meal will come from.

• Fully Fund K-12 Classrooms
Every student deserves access to a high-quality education, regardless of their zip code. I will fight to fully fund Michigan's K-12 classrooms, ensuring schools have the resources they need to hire and retain excellent teachers, reduce class sizes, modernize learning materials, and provide students with the tools necessary to succeed in today's economy. Investing in our schools is investing in Michigan's future.

• Reduce Unnecessary Standardized Testing
Teachers should be teaching, and students should be learning—not spending weeks preparing for and taking excessive standardized tests. I support reducing unnecessary testing requirements so educators can spend more time providing meaningful instruction and individualized support. By shifting the focus from test scores to real learning, we can create a more effective and engaging educational experience for Michigan students.

• Paid Parental Leave
No parent should be forced to choose between caring for a newborn child and earning a paycheck. I support paid parental leave policies that allow parents to spend critical time with their children during the earliest stages of life without sacrificing their financial security. Strong families build strong communities, and Michigan should support parents when they need it most.

• Medicare for All
Healthcare is a human right, not a privilege reserved for those who can afford it. I support Medicare for All because every Michigander deserves access to quality healthcare regardless of their income, employment status, or pre-existing conditions. No family should face medical debt, delay treatment, or choose between paying for medication and paying their bills.

• Affordable Childcare
The high cost of childcare places an enormous burden on working families and often forces parents out of the workforce. I support expanding access to affordable, high-quality childcare so parents can pursue careers, support their families, and provide their children with safe and enriching environments. Affordable childcare is not only a family issue—it's an economic issue that benefits entire communities.

• Make Michigan Affordable for Working Families
Michigan families are working harder than ever while struggling with rising costs for housing, groceries, healthcare, and everyday necessities. I will fight for policies that lower costs, strengthen wages, and create economic opportunities that help working families get ahead instead of simply getting by. Every family deserves the chance to build a stable and secure future.

• Get Money Out of Politics
Government should answer to the people, not wealthy donors, corporations, or special interests. I support campaign finance reforms that increase transparency, reduce the influence of big money in elections, and restore public trust in government. Elected officials should be accountable to their constituents—not the highest bidder.

Every person deserves the freedom to make their own healthcare decisions without government interference. I am committed to protecting reproductive rights and ensuring that individuals can access the care they need while maintaining their privacy, dignity, and personal freedom. I will stand against efforts to roll back rights that Michigan voters have chosen to protect.
